Price Waterhouse Coopers

Project Description

The offices for PriceWaterhouseCoopers are  situated in the PWC tower in Quay Street  Auckland.
Extensive analyses were carried out with representatives of all lines of service, and design workshops with a wide cross section of PriceWaterhouseCoopers staff enabled a responsive and flexible design to evolve.
The design consists of five generic floors, in which the open plan is arranged in precincts, with directors and executive assistants strategically placed in nodal positions.

Quiet rooms, meeting rooms and cafes are located on all floors and specialist areas of client meeting areas and administration and I.T. facilities have specific locations for the efficient management of the functional areas.

The palette of materials is simple yet powerful, with timber, glass and zinc used in relationship to monochromatic and chromatic walls. Natural large trees are used extensively on all floors to generate the feeling of wellbeing and to contribute to a healthy environment.
